Due to the fact that many more people found us during the coronavirus pandemic stocks may be low, but we are slowly refilling the shelves again.

Meat

Lamb and Pork is fresh in the Autumn and then stored in the farm shop freezers. Raised naturally outdoors and given minimal treatments the meat our animals produce is tender and rich in flavour and prepared for us by a wonderful local butcher. You are welcome to stroll round the farm and see the animals. The pigs live at the far end in a field with a stream running through it, making a natural wallow, and have their tummies rubbed daily. The sheep roam throughout the fields wherever the grass is most plentiful. They don’t like being touched but will definitely stick around for a little conversation.

Eggs

Chickens are always a delight to have around - particularly Hendini, who is as determined to have full and free range of the farm as we are to keep her safe within an electric fence. The battles continues……. Eggs are in plentiful supply throughout the longer lighter days, less so through the winter. The chickens live in the orchard near the bees and produce eggs with wonderful rich yellow yolks.

Jams & Honey

Honey from our bees, jams from whatever fruits we grow or forage. Raspberry, Strawberry, Gooseberry, Blackcurrant, Damson, Plum, and our much-loved Blackberry Butter made from a recipe handed down through the family. Available according to quantity and season.

Other

We have an orchard from which we produce apple juice and cider. In Spring/early Summer we gather elderflowers to make elderflower cordial. We make our own sourdough bread, yoghourt, muesli and granola. Some or all of these products may be found in the farm shop. As a licensed premises, we are able to sell wine, beer and spirits. And for those who like a snack, there are usually crisps, sweets and chocolates to be found in the shop.
